I. List of Chemistry
teacher duties:
- Prepares a college-preparatory Chemistry curriculum, leads instruction, develops assessments, and provides feedback for students
- Collaborate with other members of the department for sequential curricula, with each year’s course of study building upon previous year’s work and building toward the following year’s work
- Communicate regularly and constructively with peers, administrators, students, and parents
- Employ technology in the classroom as an instructional tool
- Lead a weekly advisory group

teacher qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or (preferred) graduate degree in Chemistry or Science Education
- Eager and able to lead or assist with extracurricular activities
- Highest standards of professional conduct
- Comfortable working in an independent school setting
- To perform this job successfully, the incumbent(s) will possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently

- Work in a highly stressful environment dealing with hazardous materials, a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts.
- Stand or work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.
- Work primarily in a traditional climate-controlled classroom and science laboratory.
